Intento Glossaries allow you to customize machine translation with your terminology (i.e., product names, non-translatable terms, etc.). The terminology can be applied to machine translation from both providers that natively support terminology and providers that do not have this feature yet.
Intento Glossaries work in a provider-agnostic fashion. Read more about supported MT providers.
To start working with Glossaries:
- Create a new glossary → Click Add Glossary button and set parameters
- Add Terms → Click Add Draft Terms button and then add them manually or import via .csv file
- When you’ll be ready with draft terms, Publish them by clicking Publish Draft Terms button
Your Glossary is ready, but there are a few steps more to apply them in translations.
File format & structure
You can upload terms from a .csv file. Please note that it should have the following structure with 2 columns (no need in headers):
apple |
사과 |
robot |
로봇 |
goose |
거위 |
yellow submarine |
노란 잠수함 |
Please note, If you are using a .csv file to create a non-translatable glossary, it may contain only 1 column.
