Yandex Cloud Translate

You can use your own MT provider credentials via the Intento MT Hub. To set up a connected Yandex Cloud Translate account, you need to:

  1. Set up a Service Account

  2. Create Yandex API Key

  3. Add Yandex Cloud API Key in Intento

  4. Finish Service Account Set up

Set up a Service Account

  1. Go to Yandex.Cloud Console

  2. Click on the directory you need (default in most cases):

  3. Choose Service accounts and click the desired service account:

 

Create Yandex API Key

In Yandex, looking at a previously generated API Key is impossible. If you lost the key or the key is now insecure, you need to replace it by generating a new API Key.

To generate a new API Key:

  1. Go to the Service Account as described in the section above

  2. . To create an API Key, click Create an API key:

  1. Enter the description of the API Key in the pop-up window:

  1. Copy and save your secret key before closing the window — you will need to specify it later in the Connected Accounts section in the Intento Console:

Add Yandex Cloud API Key in Intento

To add Yandex.Cloud API Key to Intento Connected Accounts:

  1. Go to Connected Accounts in the Intento Console

  2. Open Yandex Cloud Translate API v2 section:

  3. Click on CONNECT YOUR OWN ACCOUNT 

  4. You can change the name (Credential ID) and enter the Yandex API Key in the Key field:

  1. Click on CHECK AND CONNECT

  2. Wait for the OK status.

If you do not get a status change for a couple of minutes, try to refresh the page. Then you can use your Yandex account through Intento Connected Accounts.

Finish Service Account Set up

To create a new Service Account:

  1. Go to Yandex.Cloud Console

  2. Click on the directory you need (default in most cases) and choose Service Accounts

  3. Click Create a Service Account:

  1. Enter a name for the Service Account

  2. Click + to add role(s) and choose the Editor role

  3. Click Create:

Yandex.Cloud may reach out to you and ask you to create a payment account if it hasn’t been created yet.
