Basic guide to use and understand usage statistics
Purpose
Provide an overview of the basic usage of the tool, helping you understand how to analyze and interpret your account’s activity within the platform.
Overview
The Usage Statistics page allows you to understand how your account is using the platform.
It provides visibility into overall activity, resource consumption, and usage patterns over time.
This page is designed to help you analyze how your account interacts with different services, providers, and products.
By using filters and grouping options, you can easily identify where and how the system is being utilized.
Available Filters and Options
Grouping
You can choose how the data is grouped to focus on specific dimensions of your usage.
Available grouping options include:
Users: Displays results grouped by user within your account.
Providers: Shows which providers were used.
Intents: Refers to the type of call or method executed.
For translation usage, this is typically the
ai.text.translatemethod.
Products: Displays which products were used (plugins, TMS, etc.).
Language Pairs: Indicates which language pairs were used in translations.
Category: Shows which language model categories were used.
Date Range
You can define a start and end date to analyze usage within a specific time period.
Additionally, you can choose how to visualize the data on the chart:
By month
By day
By hour
By minute
Tip: For better performance, it is recommended to use a date range of up to one month.
Extra Filters
To refine your analysis even further, you can apply extra filters to focus on specific data segments.
Available options include:
Users
Providers
Intents
Products
Language Pairs
Category
These filters help you identify detailed usage information for specific conditions or parameters.
Exporting Data
You can export your usage data for external analysis.
The export will generate a ZIP file containing CSV files with the usage details from the selected filters and time range.
Example of Use
Let’s say you want to check which language pairs were most used last month:
Go to the Usage Statistics page.
In Grouping, select Language Pairs.
Set the Date Range to include the previous month.
(Optional) Choose to display the data by day to visualize trends.
Once the data is displayed, you can hover your mouse over the chart to see the number of translated words according to the selected grouping type.
You will now see a breakdown of translation activity by language pair for the selected period.
If needed, click Export to download the detailed CSV data in a ZIP file.
