Multilingual projects in memoQ

MemoQ is capable of translating different language pairs in one project using Intento plugin.

This works for both: editing and pretranslation modes. Here is how to set this functionality up.

At first, chose the target language:

Please note that you might use the "all" option as well, but it will not work with models and glossaries.

After that, please choose the correct settings for each language pair. For example, you might want to choose different providers for some languages or use different models for the appropriate language pairs.

It will work right away in the editing mode, but for the pretranslation, you will need to make sure that the whole project is being translated, otherwise, only one language pair will be used. Also, please click on the "Select MT Plugins" section and turn on the translation of the needed language pair and check if Intento plugin is selected:

You will see that the different language pairs were translated in the pretranslation mode:

Sometimes, you cannot apply the same settings for each project, for example, when the model is used. In this case, you will have to choose the appropriate settings for each model, especially, minding that each model works with only one language pair.
