If you use glossaries with SYSTRAN, you can add parts of speech (POS) to terms to get better translation results.
Before you create a glossary with POS, change settings in Intento Backoffice. Find your organization in Backoffice, select the Product Configurations tab, select the Glossaries product configuration. Make sure you have:
- enabled "Allow custom CS access" (and disabled the old "Allow legacy CS access")
- added the SYSTRAN connected account in systran_credental_id
- enabled "Specify part of speech".
Now you can add parts of speech to terms when you create a new glossary. The glossary format is a csv file without headers, and three columns for the source terms, target translations, and POS. In the POS column the values are lowercase (adverb, conjunction, preposition, rule, noun, proper noun, adjective, acronym, verb).
